My first performance of a magic show took place in Oakville, Ontario when I was just 12 years old!  I continued to perform throughout my public schooling years as part of a magic duo known as The Magic Company, a name that I created when I was just 13 years old. Together, my friend and I performed as The Magic Company at libraries, fairs, birthday parties, Christmas shows and many local special events. Although The Magic Company performed hundreds of shows while we were still in public school, my professional performances commenced as soon as I graduated from high school. At that time I developed a new show and officially registered my new business as Danny Hamill and His Magic Company.

Since my initial performance back in public school, I have now been entertaining audiences with two age-appropriate shows: The Comedy Magic of Danny Hamill and Magic Danny’s Wonderama Show! for more than 40 years!

All ages! Danny has performed his brand of comedy magic for a wide range of ages - from 1 to 101! Whatever the age of the audience is, Danny will be certain to design an age-appropriate magic show that will be funny, interactive and filled with wonder.

Yes! Danny believes that the strongest magic takes place in the hands of volunteers from the audience.  So Danny will often invite people from the audience to join him on the stage – making sure they become the star of the magical routine. Danny’s goal for each performance is to have the audience feel a sense of wonder, mystery and joy.  This will foster the emotion of feeling part of a magic show – not one of merely watching a magic show.  Along the way, there will be lots of laughs – conjured up with good clean comedy!

Danny performs his comedy magic show for corporate events, family resorts, fairs, festivals, exhibitions, church programs, school fun fairs, weddings and private parties.

Yes! Danny will be certain to put together the perfect comedy magic show for your event taking into consideration the number of people attending, the age range attending, the location of your event, and the size of the performance space.

Yes! Danny has performed his comedy magic on stages and television right across Canada. Danny has also brought his magical wonder, mystery and joy to audiences in Ireland, Scotland, England, Bermuda, Australia, New Zealand and the United States.

Yes!  Most of the fairs and festivals that Danny performs at, the shows take place outdoors. Although Danny believes the best performance space for a magic show is on an indoor stage, Danny will definitely design the perfect magic show for your event – indoors or outdoors.

Although Danny has been booked as far as 2 years in advance, this is generally not the norm. However, it is always best to secure Danny’s performance as soon as you have a confirmed date for your event.

Yes! Danny travels with 3 different sound systems – suitable for most audiences. If the event is rather large, Danny can easily plug his headset and remote control for his music into any sound board.

Danny will custom design his magical show to fit into any performance space, without compromising the quality of the magic and the audiences experience. A minimum space of 4 feet by 8 feet would be good, but something larger would be better!

Yes!  Please feel free to further your memories of Danny’s performance by taking some pictures – especially if you have a colleague, family member, or a friend helping Danny out during the show. You are also free to record a small segment of the show, but please refrain from recording the full show, unless you have spoken to Danny prior to doing so.

Yes! This is a very important question. You can rest assured that Danny is fully insured with Performers Liability Insurance. If your event requires an insurance certificate, with your company name and show location/date on the certificate please let Danny know a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the performance date.
